I have used the power of persuasion in the past to swing people's opinions my way, but I haven't done much else, but I'm not too worried about it since I still have a lot of time to make a positive impact on our world.

I have used the powers granted to me as an American to be able to express dissent with the government. Also, I use the powers granted to citizens in the bill of rights like freedom of religion and assembly.

I have used my power as an American citizen by using the freedoms given in the Bill of Rights. I use religious freedom to go to church every Sunday. And I use freedom of speech to voice my opinion on government and its issues in class every day.

From the freedoms that the bill of rights gives me, I use power as an American citizen to speak my own reasons whether its in or out of school. Which allows me to speak freely to others and say what i want to say.

I use my power as an American by bearing arms. I carry a pocket knife and will carry a handgun when I am old enough because it is my right to have weapons to defend myself

As Americans we have the power to express our own religion. Therefore, I make sure that I am involved in my church and try to teach others about my faith and get them involved in church activities as well.

As an American I have used my power through exercising my rights, such as my freedom of speech. I do this whenever I give my opinions on any topics, including government and politics, such as when I blog on here.

I have used my power as an American many times. Every Sunday my family and I go to church, which is granted by the freedom of religion. Also, I use my freedom of speech everyday by speaking my opinion and saying what comes to my mind. In addition, when I am old enough to vote, I will use that power as well.

I typically do not use my power as an American. I am not a very active citizen. I do believe, however, that once I am 18, am able to vote, and people respect my opinion because I can now be an "adult" I will use my power much more frequently. Though I have the ability to, I have not written to any representatives of my state, community or country. I do use my powers granted to me in the bill of rights such as freedom of speech and press. I just utilized the freedom of press last night when I published a video on YouTube. In fact, I am using power as an American in this class by voicing my opinion and freely gaining knowledge. Knowledge is power.

I have used my power as an American by being involved on the levels of which I am capable. I have served on a local government board for six years as secretary of the Muskego mayor's decisions regarding teens. I take advantage of community opportunites that are available to me through school and various other organizations to enrich my life and help enrich other people's lives. I educate myself and work towards success as much as possible. I publicly sing and worship God as a member of my church's worship team. As a female, I don't let the "men-only" activities remain to be that way... Only a men's a cappella group at school? We'll make a women's one. Only boys are on the school trapshooting team? I'll join and change that, too. I have been in contact with the Waukesha County Executive, Don Vrakas and I have obtained a letter of recommendation from him. Now that I am 18, I can't wait to start voting. Those are a few examples of how I have utilized my power as an American.

I have used the powers given to me as an American to express myself differently than others and represent myself as an individual. Also, to speak up for what I believe is right in some cases. I used my powers to express my own religion and stick up for myself in court for speeding tickets or so on. The powers given to me in the bill of rights, I express daily and I am proud of that.
