What do you want to hear the president talk about in the State of the Union Address Tuesday?

Article II, Section 3 - State of the Union, Convening Congress

I would like to hear about his plans fixing the economy and getting out of depth. These are the most important points concerning the American people and I think in the State of the Union Address something like that should be mentioned.

I would like hear on Tuesday the reason that president obama turned down the Keystone pipeline from Canada. The pipeline would bring 900,000 barrels of oil a day to the U.S and would directly create 20,000 jobs. Because obama turned down the Keystone pipeline Canada might sell its oil to China. In my opinion this makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. In a time where we need to be energy independent we are letting a neighbor country sell their oil to china???? With Iran threatening to shut down our oil supply i think it would be a smart idea to get some of our oil somewhere else. Obama turning this down this also make no sense because leading experts say there is almost no risk to the environment. There are already 50,000 miles of crude oil pipelines in the U.S. If you ask me he has some explaining to do.

I would like President Obama to talk about how he is going to save the economy. Ways he is going to lower taxes and create more jobs for citizens. I want to hear his explanation on why we are spending so much money in different countries when we should be helping America first. His future plans with producing oil and getting out of the deficit will also be important points.

I want to hear the president talk about how he will follow through with his plans to push through his ideas without congress's approval.

I would really like the president to talk about and address the State of the Union. In addition to that I would also like him to talk about the economy and how he is going to fix the unemployment rate.

The thing that I would like to hear in the state of the Union Address Tuesday is I would like to hear the president talk about how he is going to be trying new things to try and fix our nations economy. I would like to see this because the way I see it I have not seen the economy improve dramatically.

In Tuesday's address, I would like to hear the President talk about what he has accomplished in his term as President versus what he promised to do while campaigning. It seems to me that there are not many people happy with Mr. Obama. Conservatives think he did a lot of terrible things and many liberals do not think he did nearly enough. It should be very interesting to see how the President handles all of these unhappy opinions of him. Hopefully the Presidents speech will address these concerns with hard facts instead of smooth talk, smoke, and mirrors.

The president should talk about the issues that our country is facing, from the national debt, the terrorism that we face everday, along with the issues we face with oil and the high gas prices. It would be nice to hear the truth of what is accualling going on in this country and what the future generation is accually up agasint, because it isnt going to be easy for any of us.

I would like to hear him talk about his plans to fix the economy and help our depth crisis. He doesn't have much time left in office before the next election, so hopefully he will utilize this time to help stimulate our economy. It also would be great if he could unleash some sort of job plans.

I would like to hear President Obama talk about how he is going to get the nation out of debt and boost the economy by providing more jobs. I would also like to hear how he plans to get some bills passed before his next term, and also if he is running for president again, how he is going to go about his campaign.

I think President Obama should talk about what he has done in these four years he has been president and what he plans on doing if he gets reelected. He should talk about all the laws he plans on passing through congress to make this a better nation. What he is going to do with abortion, gay marriage, get more jobs, lower taxes, deal with foreign policy, and take us out of this debt.

I think that the biggest crisis our country is currently facing is the national debt. I would like to hear Obama talk about how he plans to continuously reduce it and cut spending in the next year.

One thing I would like the president to address is his decision to turn down the Keystone pipeline from Canada. To me, the project seems like a positive idea for our country to help boost the economy and create jobs. Why Obama refused to accept it is beyond me, and I am curious to hear his reasoning behind this.

I would like Obama to apologize to Americans for turning down job creation by not allowing Keystone pipe line and then saying he is trying to make America better. Along with that i believe as his party leader he needs to try to reach out to Republicans to try and solve this countrys issues. Finally in the end im being very optimist but id like him to step down and let some one that can get stuff done into office.

In President Obama's State of the Union Address I would like to hear how he is going to create jobs because that is an issue that affects most Americans. I would like to hear why he turned down the Keystone pipeline, which would have created thousands of jobs. The biggest thing is that the pipeline would need is to be maintained and, therefore, would create permanent jobs. I would also like to see him have a plan against Iran's nuclear program so that they do not bomb Israel and basically blow them off of the map. If worse comes to worse I would like to hear him say that he will back Israel. If Iran does eventually successfully create a nuclear bomb it could be catastrophic. Iran could do many things with the threat of a nuclear bomb including control the oil in the Middle East, which would send many economies, including ours, into a collapse because of the high oil prices. Iran could also split the world to take sides with either Israel or Iran, which would not be good for any country. I would like to see the president have a plan to protect not only our own country, but also the economies of the world. This may seem like a daunting task but that is all part of the job. I believe that if Mr. Obama wants to get reelected, he should find a way to create more jobs, not deny them, and protect our country, like he is supposed to.

What I want to hear President Obama say is how this "Change" will be for the better. We've had a lot of negative change yes, but from my thinking, that's not really the best change. I want him to tell us his plan on our economy and how he will make it finally deplete the deficit, and create a surplus.

I would like to hear President Obama talking about his accomplishments since he is in office and his further plans what he's going to do before the next general election. Especially I would like to hear more from him about the economy, the huge amount of depth and his foreign policy plans.

To be honest, I will be at the basketball game on Tuesday and my DVR doesn't work. Therefore, I will not see the State of the Union Address. However, if I was going to watch it, I would like to see what President Obama plans to do with health care. I would be interested in hearing about whether or not universal health care will exist. That's pretty important. *MORE fun!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP4abiHdQpc

I would love to hear his reason on rejecting the keystone pipeline. It would bring in hundreds of thousands of oil into the U.S every day and create a ton of jobs. Also hows he gonna get this country back because it looks a lot like somebody else is gonna be in office the next four years. Maybe he should even apologize for wat he's put americans through the last 4 years. Man up for your mistakes and dont make any more stupid promises put someone in charge who cares about the country not himself.

I would like to hear about the plan to fix the econemy. We are trillions in debt and moving further in the wrong direction every day. I want to know we will become less internationally dependant, espically on china. I am also curious on how our econemy will remain stable, even if others fall out. I am hoping to hear his military plans. Now that the war is over, where will the troups go. Home or will several thousands be stanished to "control and protect" the area.

APrichard said...

Dealing with this current economic crises it is absolutely necessary to arrive at a conclusion to reduce the trillions in debt the United States currently has. This is one important point of the State of the Union Adress. However, there is also the need to discuss creating jobs in order to decrease the still over average unemployment rate.
