In the third debate in three weeks, the Republican presidential candidate debate that occurred 3 days ago made Mitt Romney pull through as a definite front-runner for the Republican Party. Romney came out of the gate very aggressive towards Texas governor, Rick Perry. Romney criticized the Texas policy that Perry adapted which allows illegal immigrants to qualify for in-state tuition rates at public colleges and universities. He said that it “didn’t make sense” that illegal immigrants are getting as much as $22,000 in tuition breaks that out-of-state citizens do not receive. Personally, I side 100% with Romney about this issue. Romney also quoted a passage from Perry’s book entitled, “Fed Up!” about Perry’s take on Social Security programs and how state and local governments should be allowed to run them. The issue of Social Security is going to be a huge factor in this Presidential election because the majority of the senior citizen vote is going to come down to the candidate’s view on Social Security. Overall, I think that Romney won the debate.

I believe that Mitt Romney won the last presidential candidate debate. Romney was able to answer questions clearly confidently and strongly. he was also able to fight back after being attacked by the other candidates running agains him. Romney did a good job of over powering his main opponent by denouncing perry's take on illegal immigrants. In my opinion, Mitt Romney won the debate.

In the last Republican debate, I believe the candidate that showed the strongest points is Paul Ryan. First, In my opinion, Paul Ryan is the best candidate because of his promise that he gives to senior citizens. Ryan states that he is going to try and cut back spending money on the military, across seas. Furthermore, with this extra money, Ryan plans on improving the Socail Security of elderly citizens. This is a very good idea because of the baby boomers in this generation. The elderly rate in the united states will increase drastically in the next 10 years. As a result, citizens of the United States of America will be for this idea, which is why I belive he prevailed in the last Republican debate.

During the last Presidential candidate debate Mitt Romney became the lead runner. He isn't afraid to take on any opponents views and attack. During the debate he took on Perry, who has been a top candidate,on the topic of Social Security. Without a doubt he won this, firing back at Perry with stronger opinions of his own. Not only did Romney win the debate but he is proving he wants the presidency spot.

Though neither candidate was a clear winner, I think that Mitt Romney did a better job that Perry at the past debate. Compared to previous debates, he seemed more agresive to me. He did a better job of fighting Perry convincingly and with responded to Perry's attacks with real answers. However, I think that he needs to bring up some new issues instead of just always arguing with Perry over the same things (social security, his healthcare bill, etc.).

I do not believe that any candidate truly "won" the last debate, However, I do think that Rick Perry shot himself in the foot with his arguments on social security. The elderly americans are the part of the population most likely to go out and vote, and by telling them that he doesnt agree with social security he surely didnt make too many friends.

I do not think that there was a clear winner in the Republican debate, rather only an opinion of who won. The Florida Straw Poll showed that Cain had won in Florida by a large margin, yet based solely on the performance in the debate, I believe that Mitt Romney won. The main focus of this debate was on Romney and Rick Perry. Mitt Romney seemed more agressive in this debate and I believe it is because of Rick Perry. Mitt Romney is trying to pull away from Perry in the polls, and this pressure is causing him to perform better. When compared to Perry, Romney seems more confident in his plan mainly because Perry does not directly agree or disagree with his own ideas he wrote in his book. Although this debate seemed shakey and ammature at best, Mitt Romney seems to have pulled into the front runner.

In the last debate I believe that the "winner" was Mitt Romney. one of the reasons was because he was very assertive with his answers. Another reason is because he took on Perry and the issue over social security. Overall I believe that Romney was the winner due to his take charge attitude.

I believe Mitt Romney won the last presidential Republican debate. Romney had strong arguments against Perry dealing with social security. In fact, Perry had not even made a statement about social security. Romney has also shown experience because he had run for President since 2007, so I felt he acted with poise and patience in the debate. He also defended his arguments clearly and concisely which made him seem like he knew what he was talking about.

In Romney's case, that has meant trying to win support from conservative voters despite the moderate positions he held on social issues while he was governor of Massachusetts. Overall the debate, I think Romney is hold an advantage of the debate, but he hasn't won it.

The fourth debate happens to have the same winner as the first three: Mitt Romney, according to the washington post. Romney has been in the winners cirlce for 4 straight weeks. They say he was very effective by downplaying his liabilities on healthcare policy and marked his main points on job creation and the economy. Romney has been a potential canditate in the previous election giving him a much usefull advantage, expierence. Romney used social security to bash Rick Perrys views and got some assistance from Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum. Leaving Romneys debate skills to do the rest. Romney-Perry 2012? who knows.

I do not think there was a really clear winner of the debate but I would say that Mitt Romney was the most recognizable. He definitely prevailed over Rick Perry especially in regards to immigration laws. I would like to add, however, that Rick Perry keeps digging himself into bigger and bigger holes with some of his nonsense arguments and comments.

The republican party has now come upon three presidential candidate debates in three weeks, it has become more evident to me who is pulling ahead of other candidates. Mitt Romney appears to be the highest favored candidate, as i expect now Rick Perry to drop in the polls due to his view of social security in its entirety. The elderly voters are a great portion of those voting and will no be inclined to vote against him in the coming weeks. The reason though that I chose Mitt Romney as a leader would be to his views of immigration laws.

I feel Mitt Romney won the last republican debate. He made Rick Perry look stupid with some of the answers he gave about immigration and social security.

Mitt Romney is the frontrunner. Although he may not always have the best ideas to represent the Republican Party, he effectively persuades his audience and makes his arguments believable. He is not afraid to plunge into a controversial issue and stands firm in his decisions. It seems as if Perry was timid next to Romney, who is clearly in control.

I believe Rick Perry won this debate. Even though Romney speared him in their debate on social security he reaffirmed his stance on other points including small business plans, illegal immigrants, and job creation with specific facts that supported his original beliefs. This I believe left him with a great standing among the other Republican candidates.
