I would like to see Barack Obama in person. I would ask him this:

You have stated the need for reforming and improving the education system throughout the country, and have come up with comprehensive plans to do this; however, in order to keep up with the growing needs relating to education this includes increasing funding for many programs and grants which in total will cost $18 billion per year. If the needs continue to grow, it will cost more than the above amount. Besides delaying the NASA Constellation program, auctioning property and using some money from the Iraq War, where will we continue to get the necessary funding from?

If I could see any presidential candidate in person, it would have to be Obama. I would ask him the following question:

You said that "it's a disgrace we haven't talked" to the likes of Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, Bashar Assad, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Do actually believe doing this will better the United States' relationships with these nations? Also, what is your reasoning behind your belief that is the United States and George Bush's fault for our difficulties with these "thugs"?

I would like to meet in person, Rudy Giuliani.

I would ask him: You have done a lot in New York after September 11, 2001. What are you going to do for the country from here on out. How much money would you put towards Homeland Security, and how high would Homeland Security be on your priorities. What are you going to do to make sure each and every state is safe enough?

Pretending I care again.. (which soon enough I will) I would like to see Obama in person. I would ask him boxers or briefs? (Not really). I would ask him how he feels on the immigrants issue, and how we are paying for them, and we don't get free things. I would ask him if its possible to become and illegal to get the benefits that the immgrants are getting.

I would like a chance to talk with Hilary. My number one fear as I get older is our country's ability to win the war against terrorism. My one question would be, how (in detail) she, as president, would go about protecting our country in this war. I'm very concerned from her unstable positions on this topic that she clearly has a vision end plan in this area. Personally, I would like her to lay out her strategy and stick with it.

If I could see any of the presidential candidates I would want to see Barack Obama. I'd ask him to fully explain his plans for universal health care because it seems as if his lack of definite comments about his health care plan are being called into question by some of the other presidential candidates, namely Hilary Clinton.

I don't really have a favorite candidate yet, but I would like to ask Hillary what she plans on doing to reduce the number of abortions without making it illegal.

If I could see any prez. Candidate in person, I would love to meet Hilary. I think it would be great to sit with her and not really talk about the normal asked questions. I'd want to ask her what she thinks about all the ignorant people in the world who are against her just because she is a lady. All the people that don't think this Country is "ready" for a lady to run this Country. Or how she feels about this country not being ready for an African American Prez. I don't want to hear anyhting politically correct from her. I am sure she must just want to let out a little steam, and I would LOVE to be there when she does.

If I could meet a candidate, I would like to meet Bill Richardson. I'd like to ask him about the environment and his plans for reducing global warming. I'd also like to ask him about any plans he may have to make college tuition more affordable, particularly private schools.

I'd also like to meet Rudy Giuliani and have an Inside the Actor's studio sesh with him so I could ask him who his acting influences were in this piece - Link NSFW, it will be blocked!

I would like to meet Barack Obama, the question that I would ask is why do you hide your cigarette smoking?

I would like to see Barack Obama in person, but the opportunity to meet with any presidential candidate would be phenomenal.

I would ask this to any candidate:

In regard to the Iraq war, George Bush has often said it is in the United States' best interest to "stay the course."

To what extent do you believe it is necessary to stick to an original policy? If a plan seems to be failing, at what point do you publicly and seriously consider an alternative policy?

If i could meet any candidate and ask him a question it would probably be Joh Mcain, and i would ask about his expierences as a P.O.W. in Vietman

If I could meet one candidate and ask a question, I would like to meet Rudy Giuliani. My question for him would be "You were in New York on September 11th and by seeing what happened that day how would you further protect the United States from future attacks?"

If I could see one presidential candidate, I would like to see Giuliani. I would ask him if he could dissprove the rumors that he knew the health risks and still waited until after the gold was found at ground zero to stop the search for health and safety reasons?

I would want to see Barack Obama in person and ask him a question. I would probably ask what makes him unique and stand out more than any other candidate. I would specify that I don't mean his stances on the issues like immigration. More towards character and background.

The presidential candidate I would like to see in person is either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

I would ask either of them about their definate plans on how they are going to fix the health care system in the country. It's in utter chaos right now. The poorest people are the people who are getting sick most often because of the conditions in which they live their lives. Due to their lack of insurance (being unable to afford it), they're unable to go to the hospital as often as they should, and if they do go, they're stuck with fees that are ridiculous for just going to the emergency room. The whole system is terrible.

A side note about terrorism...
I'm reading a book that made me think. It says:
"'Terrorism,' the professor had lectured, 'has a singular goal. What is it?'
'Killing innocent people?' a student ventured.
'Incorrect. Death is only a byproduct of terrorism.'
'A show of strength?'
'No. A weaker persuasion does not exist.'
'To cause terror?'
'Concisely put. Quite simply, the goal of terrorism is to create terror and fear. Fear undermines faith in the establishment. It weakens the enemy from within...causing unrest in the masses. Write this down. Terrorism is not an expreesion of rage. Terrorism is a political weapon. Remove a government's facade of infallibility, and remove its people's faith.'"

I thought it was an interesting way to look at things. One I had thought of before but didn't understand how to put it that eloquently.

I would be content with any of the presidential candidates; however, if I had my choice I would like to see Barack Obama. My question to Mr. Obama would be:

"What is it about your personality and or beliefs do you think stands out to Oprah Winfrey so much that makes her want to endorse your campaign and why is it do you think she chose you to be the first campaign she endorsed?"

P.S I almost forgot to post. Lucky for me, I was reading the paper and saw something about a Honda Civic, which for whatever reason triggered my brain to think "civics blog"" :-)

o.k even though I forgot to post I'll post anyway, because I am that good of a student. (That was a hint to Mr. B to consider partial credit ;-)

Anyways I would want to see Obama in person and ask him the following questions:

if he truly feels he is the best democratic candidate, and

knowing that he has had so much campaign fiscal support, if he feels presidential campaigns should be based on how much money a candidate can get to maintain his/her campaign or if it should be based purely on whether or not the candidate would improve our country.

i would ask barack obama, "if elected president, what is your plan for a diplomatic solution in iraq, and what is your opinion on our current troop deployment?"

Obama would definately be the candidate that I would be most interseted in talking to. I feel that it is a very bold move for Obama to be running for president, despite the closed minded stereotype of americans. Which leads to the question I would ask him. I would ask him how much he thinks his chance of being elected as president is affected due to his muslim origins. I don't feel that this should be a factor at all in the presidential elections, however I have heard many rumors of what Barack Obamas real intentions are once in office. Although I believe otherwise, I'm sure it puts a negative view on him from most americans.

Note: Barack Obama indicates that he is a Christian. CNN has also investigated and reported this. Whether that matters is up to each individual.

I would like to see Senator Obama to ask him how he would work to decrease costs for students entering college. The maximum pell grant available to students now only covers 32% of costs at an average public four-year college, while two decades ago, it covered 55% of costs. You have expressed enthusiasm for lowering costs for students, but where would you find funds for increasing financial aid and how would you pass it through Congress?

I would like to ask a question to Senator Obama. I would ask him about health care, if he thinks that is possible to make a national health care, and what would it take to make one.

I believe I asked my question on YouTube.

If I could meet one of the presidential candidates, I would want to meet Barack Obama. I would ask him if he thinks there will be any social security money left when I, a 17 year old, would retire in around 48 years.

I would speak to Obama, and I would ask him to try to explain to me how he believes banning and taking away guns from the public would help society as a whole. I would talk to him to try to understand his beliefs because I person do not see how that would help in any way shape or form, rather hinder everyone.
