Hopefully we don't actually have to tape a video - if we do I won't be able to because of the lack of a digital video camera. But here is my question if this blog post is requiring us to create a question: What efforts will you make to ensure that children living in "the most dangerous cities" have the same educational opportunities as children living in safer cities?

I'm not sure which article I should post my comment on. First of all, does not having to post a comment mean I don't have to post one tonight? Either way I just saw something I want to post a comment on.

Obama: Yes, I inhaled—that was the point
Well, do you think it was a smart choice of him to admit it or not? He does say that it was a mistake, but it still might give kids the wrong idea.

I loaded my video on YouTube for the Republican Debate. I asked Mayor Giuliani how he would contribute to the safety and security of America, starting with illegal immigration reform. It's pretty dorky. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDLPWC66LVI
I don't know if that link will work but I thought I'd give it a try.

"Yes, I inhaled- that was the point" I think it was okay to admit because no one likes a liar but hopefully he didn't freely give up this information. If he was pressed to give an answer, then yes, it is better to tell the truth. I think he could have done without "that was the point" but at least he didn't lie. Now if Obama volunteered this information to the public, that would be a mistake. Either way, I think it gives kids, or anyone for that matter, the wrong impression. By saying "that was the point", Obama implies that he may have smoked weed more than once. At least that's what this sounded like to me. Inhaling is definitly not a quality to look up too.

I'm so mad. I don't have a web cam or any way to post a video, seeing as I was just in California on 40 mph go carts and my mother wasn't thinking and brought our camera in the go cart with her. Needless to say taking turns at 40 mph on a go kart track does not mix with a camera. The camera flung from the go cart, on to the track, and under another go cart's tire.

ANYWAYS....

If I had the ability to ask a question it would go something like this...

I know the social security is a very controversial issues this election, especially among the younger generation (at the rate it is going it will be non existent when I am eligible). I want to know would you establish a new program that would guarantee s.s. for me, OR would you discontinue the program completely at some point—meaning that the last person to contribute to the program will be the last to receive from it.

I would prefer the latter.

On Johns article that he posted, I think it seemed as though Obama made a HUGE mistake. From what is sounds like it seemed as though he gave up the information willingly and now he gave his opponents something to tear him up about. Why give his competition some fuel. Besides, he said he did it in high school, so wasn't that like last year or so that he graduated from it?

ps. For all of you who don't have a webcam, you should have bought a mac, they come with one in the computer :)

I'm so glad my computer is incredibly awesome... 45 minutes of battling this thing and it just now decides to accept my video. sweet. Anyways, here's my video. Very dorky, (in the words of Shannon.) I'd copy and paste this link because I'm not sure how to post hyperlinks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB5fguWB1RM

My question: What will you do to ensure that college tuition costs can be made affordable to all students?

I can try to explain how to create a link. I'll link to google for my example.

Instead of using [ and ] like I am use < and >

Example without the variables substituted:
[a href="the link"]what you want the link to actually say[/a]

Example with the variables substituted:
[a href="http://www.Google.com"]Google[/a]

Now using < and > instead...
Google

(Just trying to help)

"Police arrest suspect to end hostage standoff at Hillary Clinton's campaign offices in Rochester, New Hampshire."

I figured I would post this now just in case anybody reads the blog before seeing it on the news or us talking about it tomorrow. Pretty interesting.

And by tomorrow I mean Monday.
