I am watching the race between Thompson and Baldwin in our own state. While after the primary, Baldwin seemed to hold a commanding lead. Thompson has found new life nad funding to even the race. This is an important race because there is no incumbent involved. This means the winner could concievably hold this seat for many years to come. Since neither candidate truly took advantage of the debate, this race is sure to come down to the wire.

I am currently following the senate race of our own state between (D) Tammy Baldwin and (R) Tommy Thompson. Baldwin is a Congresswoman that gave up her seat to run in the senate election. "The truth of the matter is, ladies and gentleman" Thompson is our state's fromer Governor that held the position for many years and is credited for making up school choice and welfare reform. Both are successful politicians and are in a very close race for the senate seat.

I think it's a given that we are all watching our local Wisconsin races. Expand your horizons beyond this great state. What races, OTHER THAN IN WI, are you watching (capital letters for emphasis, not yelling)?

I am watching the senate race between Jeff Flake (R) and Richard Carmona (D) in Arizona. This is a very tight race with Carmona leading in the two most recent polls. However, Flake still leads the overall average and has the advantage of the state being typically more Republican.

I am currently following the Senate race in Missouri. The democratic candidate in this race is former Senator Claire McCaskill and the republicans have still not chosen their candidate. The republican nominee may be Representative Todd Akin, Treasurer Sarah Steelman, or John Brunner. This race is interesting because way more than half the voters in Missouri said they will not vote for McCaskill because she admitted to not paying taxes on her private plane.

I am watching the race between Bill Nelson (dem) and Connie Mack (rep)of Florida. Bill Nelson is the incumbent. Bill Nelson has been in the senate for 11 years, therefore people know his experience and his history in office. As of now hes trying to be reelected for a third term. both candidates won their primaries, Bill by 80% and Connie by 60%. this should be a close race, although Bill Nelson does have the incumbency advantage.

I'm most interested in the senate race in our state between Baldwin and Thompson. Baldwin is a demorate and Thompson is a republican. Currently Baldwin is up +2.4; however, the race is ranked as a toss up.

Aside from Wisconsin, the only race I've paid a significant amount of attention to is the race in Missouri between Todd Akin and Claire McCaskill. This race has garnered national attention because of offensive comments about rape made by Akin earlier this year. McCaskill is projected to win, but because she isn't especially popular, Democrats and others offended by Akin's comments fear that there may be an upset.

The only race I've really watched is the Wisconsin senatorial race. Thompson had the lead for quite a while until Baldwin got a bump from the DNC to get ahead in the last moments. Either way it is still going to be a close race. Looking at the map, Indiana looks as if it might be an interesting race. The departing republican senator was elected at 87%, making it look as if Richard Murdock will have an easier time being elected considering he is the Republican candidate. He is currently up by 5 points over the Democrat Joe Donnelly.

The race between Tommy Thompson and Tammy Baldwin is a good race to be watching. There is no incumbent currently in office so there really are not any advantages. Both are taking a step up from their current positions, so the race should be an interesting one.

I am watching the Virginia senate race between (R) George Allen and (D) Tim Kaine. This is a big race because as of now these two candidates are tied with 46% of the vote. Also if George Allen wins the Republicans will gain a senate seat, and more senators means more political power.

Im following the race between Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson. This is important because each of these canidates have no advantage over the other. All the adds on tv are mostly putting down the other therefore how do we know what the truth is. This is why we should know and learn more abount this race.

In that case, I am interested in the Missouri race. Sure Akin made some awful comments and the Republican party won't back him, but many of the voters despise Claire McCaskill. Perhaps a third candidate will sweep in and win the election. Or maybe Akin will get a surprise victory, despite his awful public statements about rape.

i have seen bits and pieces of the arizona senate race mentioned on cnn online.this race is close and personal. But the race right now is favoring Republican jeff flake

I am not trying to watch the Wisconsin Election between Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson, but as a resident that occasionally watches tv, it's hard to miss the commercials. Democrat Herb Kohl is leaving an open spot in the senate. Tommy Thompson led early in the race by about 4%, however, recently, Baldwin (D) has taken a 4% lead in the race according to Huffington Post. As election day approaches, this race will become more and more volatile and with ads portraying Baldwin as extreme, Thompson may barely gain the upperhand.

I am watching the sanate race in the toss up state of Ohio, where republican Josh Mendel hopes to beat democratic senator Sherrod Brown. Brown is currently holding the lead in the polls, but Mendel is hoping for a boost by romney to give him the lead.

I am watching the senate race between Republican Tommy Thompson and Democrat Tammy Baldwin. Tommy had the early edge but Tammy gained the lead as of late

A recent survey by Rassmusen Reports stated that approx. 3 percent of Wisconsin Voters are undecided regarding the Tammy Baldwin (D) and Tommy Thompson (R) race for the Senate position. Neither candidate has maintained a significant lead over the other throughout their campaigns, so the results will be interesting.

I am currently watching the race between Tommy Thompson, Republican, and Tammy Baldwin, Democratic. I dont think there is anywhere you could go with out seeing advertisment for this race. This race is important because there is no incumbent and it is very close. Its going to be interesting to see who wins this toss up.

I am watching the race in our state between Thompson and Baldwin. No incumbent is involved in this race, meaning the winner could be the next congress member to hold their seat for many years.

I am following the race between Democratic nominee Tammy Baldwin, and Republican nominee Tommy Thompson. I believe that the people of Wisconsin should watch this race because it will affect members of Wisconsin directly. They both are known statewide, but people should know what they plan to do if they are elected. Neither candidate is blowing out the other so it should be another close election. Both nominees have been successful in the past, so if you want to learn more on them you can look up what they have done. This election is going to come down to a small percentage, and will be a close race till the end.

Aside from the senate race between Tommy Tompson and Tammy Baldwin I have not payed attention to any other ones. The senate race is very interesting with a lot of mud slinging by both sides. Both of the candidates look very qualified but by watching one of the debates I have noticed both have many flaws.

We should know about the race in Maine between Charles Summers (R), Angus King (I), and Cynthia Dill (D). The incumbent Olympia Snowe (R) is not competing in a re-election. As of now, the top two people are Summers and King. This could change the currently held Republican seat to an Independent seat. The Independent King is leading and could bring a more bipartisan face to the Senate even though King is slightly conservative.

I've only watched the race between Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson. It's important because there is not an incumbent. The race is very close, so it's interesting to watch and pay attention to.

I've only watched the race between Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson. Because there is not an incumbent, The race is very close. It seems to me like neither are getting their names out for themselves, rather just baching the opponent. I feel like that is not the best way to go about this election because it is so close.

I have already commented on this post for last week, but I'm going to talk about another Senate race for this week because there is no new blog. Another race I am watching is the Senate race between Linda McMahon (R) and Chris Murphy (D) in Connecticut. This race is interesting because it is extremely close. The HuffPost Pollster had McMahon leading with 43.5% to Murphy's 43.1%.

I have only watched part of the race between Thompson and Baldwin. It's interesting to watch because none of them have any advantages over each other since there isn't an incumbent.

Currently, the race in North Dakota is interesting a lot of people. Traditionally a very conservitive state, a republican candidate seems like a shoe in but something about Rep. Rick Berg has many voters considering splitting their ticket with Dem. Heidi Heitkamp. A democratic senator in a highly conservative state is an interesting topic.

I already did this post, but alright. In New York, an incumbent,Kristin Gillibrand is running for reelection against a Wendy Long. Gillibrand is a democrat while Long is a republican. New York is a strongly democratic state.

Are you thinking that there are a bunch of links posted here so that 1. if you haven't followed any races yet you can (because you should) 2. if you are only following our own WI race you can now look into some other races (because you should), and 3. if you have already commented on this topic you could find another race to watch (because you should)? Just saying.

I am keeping tabs on the Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson race for the senate seat. it seems that no one candidate has a significant advantage over the other. most of the campaign adds that i have seen on television have been negative towards one another, this causes the facts to be skewed and for voters who are undecided to be confused on who they want to stand behind.

the senate race btween Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin and former Governor Tommy Thompson is one of the closest in the country this novemeber. with Wisconsin being a major swing state who ever wins the senate race could be an indicator of who will get wisconsins 10 electoral votes in the presidencial election. both of witch are taking place on november 6th.
