Does Herman Cain suspending his campaign matter? Who will benefit? Who will be hindered?

I believe that it is a very big impact on his campaign. I think that he will lose donations for his campaign by doing this. He may lose power and the chance to win the election and the chance of becoming president. All of the other GOP canaditates will have a better chance of winning than of Herman Cain.

I think that Herman Cain's suspension of his campaign will have a large impact on the race for the Republican nomination. Many supporters of Cain will have to back new candidates, which will most likely be Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney. However, if Cain enters the race again, Gingrich's or Romney's new supporters may go back to support Cain which will alter the polls. If Cain returns to the race, it may be difficult for him to regain all of his support and it will hinder his ability to become the Republican nominee,

I think that the suspension of Herman Cain's campaign have a large impact on the presidential race. This will benefit everybody, because, there is one less candidate to compete against. If Cain decides to enter the race again, it will hinder the supporters of Cain and the other Republican candidates. With all the drama that's been circling Cain, it is probably for the best that he dropped out of the Presidential campaign.

I believe that Herman Cain suspending his campaign will severely impact the race for the republican presidential candidate. I believe that by suspending his campaign he will fly far under the raider. Overall I believe that this will really change the way of how the race is going between republicans.

I think it will have a very big impact on the campaign and every canidate. I believe he will loose votes and supporters. If herman cain reenters the race he will have a long way to make up for his lost momentum.

I think that it matters a lot. This will leave room for other candidates to move up in the polls and could easily change who the winner is. I don't think that Cain would've won anyways, but people that would have voted for him are now voting for another candidate. Therefore, the other front-runners in the Republican primary will benefit and Cain will be hindered because if he rejoins later, I don't think he will be as popular the second time around.

I believe that Cain suspending his campaign will impact the presidential race severly. For one thing Cain was a top contender for the presidential race and now that he has suspended his campaign it will hinder his supporters dramatically. Also if Cain decides to rejoin the race he will have probably have lost a lot of votes and the other candidates will have gained a lot of those votes lost.

Herman Cain suspending his campaign does matter because it takes a candidate out of the race for the Republican primaries. It will benefit all of the candidates so that the candidates focus on other candidates and try to get Cain's supporter's votes. Since Cain was in a higher position in the polls, it takes a leader out, giving others a chance to advance. It will most likely benefit Newt Gingrich and hinder Mitt Romney because Gingrich is in a stronger position amongst Cain voters and it will strengthen Gingrich's support. Gingrich is considered as having more conservative ideas than Romney, which was a similar situation with Herman Cain.

Suspending his campaign will greatly decrease Herman Cain's chance at becoming president. He will lose supporters, money, and possibly voters because the other candidates will step it up to beat his numbers and increase theirs.

I think that Herman Cain suspending his campaign will matter little to the presidential race. Cain was so far done in the polls that it does not really effect anyone positively or negatively.

I do believe that this matter because in suspending his campaign Herman Cain opens the door for the other candidates to take his support like Rick Perry or Mitt Romney. The only person being hurt by this is Herman Cain himself because he is losing vital campaigning time.

I think his suspending will only matter to his own career and most of his supporters will devide equally to the other GOP candidates. It will propaply matter in the general elections and will less the competition in the Republican party.

Oh, it matters.
Who will benefit?
Godfather's Pizza lovers everywhere.
Who will be hindered?
Herman Cain's campaign staff.

Herman Cain’s announcement that he will be suspending his campaign matters, but only to one of the potential Republican Party presidential nominees. By suspending his campaign, Herman Cain will benefit one of the hopeful Republicans nominees with his endorsement. Due to the fact that Cain was a viable nominee (meaning that he had the Republican vote for a couple weeks) this endorsement will matter substantially, and could ultimately forge a standout Republican frontrunner. This will then hinder the other Republican candidates that did not receive his endorsement. I believe that Cain was never a serious contender, but rather just got “hot” for an extended period of time. You could also say this about Gingrich, because he is “hot” right now. However, Romney has been a contender for the beginning and has stayed that way steadily over the past year. I believe that is why Romney (as I predicted) will become the Republican Party’s presidential nominee.

I think the suspending of Cain's makes a difference. I feel that the voters who voted for cain in the pole may gain some common sense and vote for Romney or Gingrich. Everyone else i believe it will create a larger gap in the poles. Paul Ryan I think will recieve the most impact from the suspending in a negative way.

It will be a nein nein nein (German for now, sounds like nine) situation for everyone, but Romney and Gingrich. I am affraid all the pokemon could not help you, if you think about it;)

I believe that the suspension of Herman Cain's campaign will not be that big of a deal... I believe that by using the word suspension he has clarified that he is not "dropping out" of the election. This will allow him to keep his funding and supporters. I also believe that if he can figure out his personal issues and refocus on winning the Republican Nomination he will come back into the primaries as a favorite for the nomination. Taking a break from the campaign trail may not be the worst thing for any of the candidates to consider.

The suspension of Herman Cains campaign for the Republican presidential nominee will create a large impact. First this may lead to Cain dropping out of the presidential race altogether. With this removal many of the other Republican nominees will come to create numerous advertisements and quickly expand their image in order to receive the votes from Cains current supporters. I suspect that the main beneficiary of Cains suspension will be Romney as he is close behind Cain in the poles and with the Cain supporters will rise to the top of the Republican nominees. However this may also hinder the Republican party as a whole due to the fact that with Cain out of the race, many may simply choose not to vote or vote for a different party if not the Republican party does not contain a suitable nominee to their liking.

In my personal opinion, I believe that the suspension does not make a significant matter of the campaign. Furthermore, it will benefit no one and it will hinder no one. Additionally, I think that once the news got out the he was having a 13-year affair, nobody took him seriously anymore. It was as though he was never in the "run" to begin with. Moreover, people thought that he was a joke, and that he did not have any morals. I also think that even if he did stay in the campaign, he would not have gathered many votes because of his behaviors. Essentially, that is why suspending Herman Cain's campaign does not matter, and will not make an impact on the rest of the campaigning that goes on

I dont believe a whole lot of people are going to miss Herman Cain. Although he lead in the polls and was popular by some, lets be real he had little to no knowledge of what was really going on. I believe it benefits republicans as a whole because they dont have all the drama with his mulitple sexual harassment charges. He has expressed support for Gingrich who i believe can win the nomination. It hinders obamas reelction very little but i bet they were hoping to run against him so they would be able to rip him apart. overall this was much overdue and he was just a large distraction.

Herman Cain's suspension of the campaign does matter because now all of his supporters will have to find a new candidate to vote for just in case he doesn't come back. Many experts are saying the votes will go to either Newt or Romney. The only one being hurt in this is Herman Cain because if he decides to come back into the election many of his voters may have found new representatives. In any event this will help all the republican candidates to increase their chance at winning.

I think that Herman Cain suspending his campaign will have a huge impact on the Republican presidential race. Without Cain to vote for, all of his supporters will have to find another nominee to place there votes for. This movehwould hinder Herman Cain himself if he decides that he would like to re-enter the race in the future. His supporters would be less likely to go back to him after they have found somebody else.

Herman cains suspension of his campaign has a huge impact on the 2012 presedential campaign. His absence i believe gives newt gingrich the biggest benifit because now cains voters with filter out to seperate canidates like bachman, perry, and santorum who had similar policies. Giving gingrich a better edge because they wont all go for the same canidate giving multiple others a lower percentage of voters.

Herman Cain suspending his campaign does not matter one little bit. He was never going to win anyway, and suspending his campaign makes it harder for Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and others to promote their campaign. Barack Obama will be hindered because it makes it harder for him to win because there are fewer candidates to vote for him.

I don't believe that it will have a large impact. The main impact of his campaign was entertainment: I don't believe that anyone actually took him seriously. His hilarious ads and comments (things are twirling around in my head) will be missed.

I think that Hermain Cains suspension will cause a big gain for other Republican candidates. My guess is that with him gone all of his suppoters will either be forced to chose another candidate or not be part of the voting process at all.

Paige said...

In response to Jakob and Jessica, I agree that there will be less competition among republican candidates. However, I do not believe that Cain was taken very seriously to begin with, and most likely wouldn't have been chosen as the nominee.

Herman Cain suspending his campaign does not really matter. His following was a mixed group of people of different ideologies, so they will each disperse to candidates who represent their individual ideologies. Not all of them will flock to one candidate. Although Romney is the front runner right now, that is more of an effect of Santorum's fall than of Cain's withdrawal.
