Hey, maybe the videos you're making now will be featured here next year.
Make good products as you get ready for a test on the presidency Friday (you'll choose whether you need practice on a FRQ or a multiple choice test).
This blog is a place for us to give our Analysis and Opinions on important topics related to civics, government and politics. Analysis is a clinical interpretation of items, issues, ideas, or events and an explanation of their impact on the future (i.e. something you think is going to happen). Opinion is composed of your reactions, feelings, and beliefs on items, issues, ideas or events (i.e. something you would like to happen). My favorite video has to be "Beyond the Crossfire" This video has proven that a group of self driven individuals are able to change society. The students unanimous kick start campaign made a difference throughout their community and the world. People need to stand up for what they believe in; such as kick starts initiative to end to gun violence.
my favorite video was "Discovery." This video is about a film class that tries to be creative when creating films. The video talked about how students at first are a little shy to express their super creative ideas, but as the class went on students became more creative with their ideas. I think this video relates to our mastery products now and how many are using creative forms of videos to show their learning.
My favorite was the Stay Curious video because she talked about all aspects of technology. She mentioned how people use it for taking pictures, surfing the internet, and building robots. Her main point of the video was to let the audience know that we need to use this technology to help us move forward and try to end poverty and make the world even better.
My favorite video was the stay curious one, talking about the different kinds of technology. The women in the video talks about how technology has evolved throughout the world and how slowly it has become essential to society. She explains how it is used in classrooms, daily life, science experiments, and how it even shows the differences between people. Whether that is looking up pictures or surfing the Web. Technology can be used in many great ways and the narrators point of the video is to use this technology we have today to end poverty and make the world a better place. I think it sends a very good message that many people should realize.
I liked the video "Tomorrow's Classroom". They talked about how connected to the world everyone is, or can be. And why we should limit our classrooms to just local areas when we can get the views and insights from different cultures and places. Also talks about how making connections to real life helps students absorb the teachings. The video is like a glimpse into the future of what education may end up being. It gives good reason for the changes and is a cool idea that teachers are now starting to incorporate.
I really liked the video titled "Double Time". There are two students - one in Taiwan and the other in America - that are able to complete a robotics project together and even present their robots to both of their classes with the use of currently available technology. We are so fortunate to have the access to computers and video calling as well as messaging so we can connect with people all over the world. These students - which appear to be friends - are taking advantage of many multiple-access tools on the internet to accomplish something that could only be done with two people in the same room before. With the computers and their capabilities today we can work with anyone anywhere and nearly at anytime.
My favorite video was "Hello from Malaysia." I really liked this video because it demonstrated that a small gesture can go a long way. By taking time to learn something about another person, it can not only build a relationship, but also can make them feel more confident in themselves.

I liked the "discovery" video. It was so cool how they used today technology in the video. I also liked that in the video it showed how products are vastly changing and improving (i.g apple iphone then ipad). This video goes to show that when we are creating a product we always should use what we know to explain what we learned and know
My favorite video was the "discovery" video because they really show how far and how useful technology can come in education. They also show the creativity of technology.
I loved the Stay Curious video, it commented on the various uses of technology. The message of the video was inspiring--having us use technology to attempt to end poverty and make the world a better place. I agree with her statements that with technology we can move forward as a society from constructing robots to just taking pictures. Today technology has become essential, so we should, as the video said, use it to better our society.
My favorite was the "Technology and me" video. I loved the message it was sending and how it was using a actual event to show how technology benefits children of that age. In the age of modern technology, it is time we adapt to using what we have and allowing kids to learn younger and become more advanced at the technology. They utilized technology to express their creativity, showing how these tools can be beneficial in ways we never used them before.
My favorite video was the "Future Innovators" for three reasons. It showed how technology could be used in a beneficial manner to help a person learn on their own. The Internet is a vast place with infinite knowledge, and though most might use it for social communication, the video displayed a student using technology to aquire such learning. My second reason is my personal bias towards all things space, and thought this tidbit about space inspiring future generations was fantastic. My last reason was because the person who made it used some great special effects to display the screen and the 'Siri' like app.
I thought the Day in the life of Kyle video was really interesting. It's touching that the girl thought to raise money to purchase the robot for Kyle, and the whole concept of a kid going to school through a robot was just amazing-- I never would have thought of it.
My Favorite video was "Stay curious" because it talked about all the different technology and how it is used. In the video they talk about the importance of technology and how its used in our every day life. A main thing in her video was about how the more we improve our technology the further it will move us in the right direction.
My favorite video was "Stay Curious." I liked how the video talked about multiple different kinds of technology and how they can be used to help further education. She made it a point that the technology can help in all different aspects of life, good or bad. The message of the video was that technology is becoming essential to everyday life, which I completely agree with.
My favorite video was Alex. I thought it was awesome that a girl that age would raise enough money for her friend to still go to school with them during his hard time. It was interesting how someone could actually use that robot and get very close to actually being there.
I thought the Art Tech Collaboration video was great. Incorporating art (and even more creative outlets) into classes that you wouldn't expect would be phenomenal. Art utilizes a different part of your brain. You're not just rewording or restating information that you found in a textbook; you're making something new.
Then again, I'm an art geek, Si I'm biased...
I really liked the video "Stay Curios" because the speaker how dependent America is on technology. But with that dependence comes ways to move our country forward with the use of technology and try to end poverty and help unite people.
The day in the life of Kyle was my favorite video. I thought it was incredibly interesting how this girl thought of this idea, as it was brilliant. Kyle probably thought that he wouldn't be able to interact with his fellow students anymore because of the treatment, but he was able to because of the purchasing of the robot.
Before I say which one's my favorite, I just want to comment on the Teleportation Investigation of 2014 music video. Wow was that one weird! Now on to my favorite video.Out of these 16 videos, I liked almost all of them! Some of my favorite ones were Discovery, PIP, Tomorrow's Classroom, Technology in Education: A Future Classroom, and Alex. I liked Discovery because I thought it was fun to watch the toy move around rather than have a person stand there and talk to me. I liked PIP because that student's astronaut suit was awesome! I liked Tomorrow's Classroom because I thought it was really cool that a class could help solve world wide problems and share these solutions to students in Uganda! I liked Technology in Education because those holograms would be so cool to use in school. If MHS could have that type of technology in the future, students would love learning, be eager to come to school, and wonder what there is to learn next. I liked Alex because I thought it was amazing how his reading level went up three grade levels in just one year because of the technology the school provided him. Hopefully with the chromebooks, MHS can have that same impact on students. Of all the videos though, I thought the best one was Technology and Me because it was super funny to watch those kids talk about what learning used to be and what it is now. I mean c'mon, who didn't laugh while watching that video. I thought I was just going to watch a couple of these videos and then pick a favorite out of the few I watched but they were all so good that I had to watch all 16 of them. If you have the time, I recommend watching each and every one of them because they all have an important message to share about technology in education.
A Day In The Life Of Kyle was my favorite video by far! I think it is absolutely amazing and heartwarming to find that technology can help children with disabilities or diseases live normal day-to-day lives. Technology has done many things for our generation, some not as good, but my favorite use of technology is for the better and advancement of human beings. It's such a great thing to see people helping other people, regardless of what little impact it may make on their lives. Technology helps us try and maintain safe, healthy environments- and promote a great life for every human being, no matter what challenges they face.
I liked the video "Hello from Malaysia". It shows kindness and generosity. It also shows how culturally diverse and welcoming America is.
My favorite video has to be the " Stay Curious" one. The girl covered ways that technology enhances our life style and will help in the long run. Although a lot of people find technology as a distraction in many cases; however, it is a resourceful where we can find information on just about anything. For example, in class everyday Mr. Bretzmann is telling us to look it up our questions online. It shows that technology helps increase our knowledge and with more and more advancements will only begin to help more.
My favorite video is "Stay Curious". This video is a great example of what different types of technology can do with learning capabilities, and it provides real life applications. I liked when they were talking about the robotics and seeing examples of students creations.
My favorite video was "discovery" video because I understand the point they were trying to make about the corruption of technology that has occurred because of twitter and other social media apps. There are beneficial ways to use technology to better the way we learn and use our resources with technology in school and our future jobs. I agree that we use this resource to grow.
Though every video I watched was well done, I was especially affected by the video titled "Beyond the Crossfire". Generally speaking, I associate technology and social media with a negative connotation because so many people my age abuse its anonymity for malicious purposes or use it to post updates on what they ate; however, this video reminded me that technology and social media have constructive uses. The internet was used to research causes and solutions centering around the rising commonality of gun violence in America, and then later used to broadcast the school's public support for a school affected by gun violence. Overall, the video was a wonderful call to action and I'm excited to watch the documentary produced by these 45 students.
@Bbulski Well said.
My favorite video was "A Day in the Life of Kyle." It was so uplifting and heart warming to see technology being used in a positive way. Technology has gotten a bad rep lately but there are so many truly good things that can come from it at the same time. Hopefully, this video has impacted and/or persuaded others to help each other out by using the resources given to us due to the vast amounts of technology available.
My favorite video was 'Discovery,' because of how I felt that it related to the ways the we use technology in our classes already. I felt that the creativity that they tried to show was linked to the mastery products we make.
My favorite video was "Tomorrow's Classroom," simply because it has a view on modern education that's the same as the way I view it. The world teaches better lessons than a desk, four walls, and a load of paper can.
My favorite video was "discovery" video because I understand the point they were trying to make about the corruption of technology that has occurred because of twitter and other social media apps. And it also shows what we can do with technology.
My favoite film was "Discovery" The whole video was very creative and talked about how the students are shy but they become creative and their ideas are great. It think it sends a good message.

My favorite video was "Discovery." The video shows the creativity and usefulness of technology today.
My favorite video was "Stay Curious" because she talked about technology and how useful its becoming. she mentioned how people use it everyday for surfing the web and taking pictures. She said that we can use today's technology to help end poverty around the world and that was the main point that stuck out in my mind.
I liked the video "PIP" the best, but all of the videos submitted were of very good quality. I liked how the student was able to make futuristic voice-control technology, and designed the awesome astronaut suit. It was cool how he created his own little sci-fi world where he could play chess by talking to the tablet, and it ordered freeze-dried ice cream
I liked "PIP" the best because of the subtle hints at technology instead of the major focus on it. I feel like it had a relation to real life, something that everyone could relate to somehow. The video showed how technology is found intermittently throughout our lives, not just in classrooms and not just on occasion.
My favorite video was the "technology and me" video. I feel that technology is advancing faster than we can keep up and in this video they showed how technology can help children learn extremely fast. I feel that technology will help future generations to show how creative and intelligent they are and this video also showed how technology is a great advancement to aide in education. I'm excited to see what they come out with next in technology and how my children will be learning with technology.
My favorite video was "Technology and Me." Aside from being adorable, I thought that its message was important--the way we learn is always growing and changing, so the methods we use should grow and change accordingly. Even at a young age, these children seem to understand that the ease of use of new technology can be coupled with teaching to create an enhanced learning environment.
"Stay Curious" was my favorite video. I liked how the video was about a creative film class. I also liked how she talked about all the different aspects of technology, and how the shy students became less shy and more creative as time went on. The main point of the video, in my opinion, was to show the viewers how important technology is in helping us move forward in the world, which I thought was very interesting.
I really enjoyed the video Stay Curious for many reasons. First of all, it really showed what technology is leading to in the future and I think that is a key point. I also really enjoyed the presentation and the effects they used in creating the video. This video showed me how technology can be used to better the community and the world or more ways than I could have ever imagined.
Without expending much thought, my favorite video was certainly PIP, followed closely by Technology in Education: a Future Classroom. Both these clips were able to demonstrate the impact of technology, without the use of a speaker outlining each idea.
However, if considered in the light of demonstrating technology as an integral part of education, I believe Beyond the Crossfire was most impressive in its demonstration of the variety and depth of education technology has granted HTH. Through student clips and a clear-speaking narrator, the story of a student groups journey to a documentary is presented in an interesting fashion.
My favorite video is the one with the "VGO". The VGO allows a child who is fighting Cancer to be present in the class room. It is a mobile robot that allow him to ask questions, talk to friends and learn all while being treated in a hospital far away. It just amazed me what they think of these days.
My favorite video was dicsovery because it used technology to show how it can be used for exploring and learning, not just for useless things such as social media
My favorite video was "A day in the life of Kyle" because I thought it was amazing how the technology was used. It's so incredible that a boy with Leukemia is still able to go to school and interact with his friends and classmates through a robot. I don't really understand what this has to do with the government, but I think it's really cool how technology can be used so effective to have such a positive and meaningful impact on someones life.
My favorite video was the thru the lens of a tiger video. I liked how it started off by basing modern technology around social media, and then showing how it truly can make an impact on lives, for example by showing the girl in the video her career life interest. It was interesting to see how the different kids in that technology class put the skills to use in their own ways. I think our school should offer a similar course to students, and find somebody good to teach it.
My favorite video was Tomorrow's classroom. I found it very interesting how the teacher used communication across cultures to solve current problems. I feel like this was a way for the students to demonstrate their understanding in a very fun manner.
My favorite video is "A Day in the Life of Kyle." It's amazing to see how technology has come as far as adequately educating a young cancer patient in the comfort of his own home. It's also really touching that a classmate of his set the possibility in motion. I'd really like to see where this story goes.
I was looking at other videos and decided i didn't like my other post. I liked the "Discovery" because it was a very elaborate way to then fallow up with such a simple statement about what video makers thoughts on technology in schools. Even though the part with the robot didn't have a direct connection to the real message of the video, it served its purpose of catching the viewers attention so that the viewers would stop to read the ending message. Doing so makes the message the last thing in the viewers head so it may be thought about.
After looking at my previous post, I realized that I have two favorite videos now. My second "favorite" video is the one named "Discovery" because it shows the power of imagination and how students need to bring out their creative side and enjoy expressing creativity. I'm going to try to be more creative on things like mastery products in the future.
My favorite video was "Technology and Me" because I like how it involved kids and their ideas of how learning can be enhanced through technology. I like how they are all so creative and open minded to the potential for new technology.
