What are you doing or what is your plan to learn more and study more AP Government (and get ready for an AP Exam) in 2009?

1. Taking new and exciting classes like Astronomy gives me the chance to research subjects that I never would have looked into on my own.

2. In the process of preparing for college, I am applying for various scholarships. These applications often challenge me to consider my reasons for attending college and my plans for the future.

3. First semester was the best semester of high school for me in terms of GPA. I hope to keep up the good work and finish the year strong.

For me personally, it's just trying to handle the stress, keep a cool head, and prioritize. In the past few months, I've put sports and other things ahead of schoolwork. I've just gotta buckle down and focus myself on schoolwork alone. (Additionally, the History Channel is a suprisingly effective supplement to anyone's acedemic studies.)

I am planning to start deeply reading the book in about March. Also, I am watching the news a lot. I should be able to do ok on it.

1. I plan to follow the reading chart and try not to get behind on the chapters. While reading I will take notes on the most important information.

2. I bought an AP GoPo study guide book that I will use to review the chapters we have already learned about and the chapters we are currently going over.

3. I will begin to prepare for the exam as it gets closer by reading over my notes from the chapters we have already covered. I will also use my vocabulary notecards to review the words that we have already learned.

I am also planning to keep up with the reading chart and make notecards for the important terms. Also, I will begin to review everything much sooner than I have for past exams.

2. Make flash cards.

3. Run for office.

I plan on reading in depth for the chapters and not skimming the words. I also plan on reviewing the vocabulary slowly over the next couple months. Basically review.

Reading would help. I think I have a good handle on the vocabulary but mainly i need to prioritize my reading schedule, and it would hurt to start reviewing the notes I've been taking all year long(when i didn't doze off; sorry)

Well, not to sound egotistical or anything, but my notes i've been taking are pretty good. They've actually been helping me review. And also, I've started my court cases list. I admit, I'm not very good on court case details, so by doing this, hopefully it will help.

I plan on praying before the test, a lot. Maybe I will start reading the book.

I plan on trying to be more organized and not just throwing everything into my locker. I'm also going to read the book a little more and start getting the notes from moodle.

1. I plan to catch up on the chapters of reading.
2. I will make notecards for the vocab, and go back and relearn the words.
3. I will use my AP Gov Study Guide that I bought.

I have been going through that work book i bought for the very low price of $15 dollars. That seems to be helping.

I have been making note cards with all the vocab on them and ill probably start reviewing them as the test date draws near.

I should probably start legitimately reading the assigned chapters.

If i follow this plan I should be pretty prepared for the test

For me it would be reading, vocab review, and note review. basically I need to prioritze and review all my GoPo stuff.

FYI: Alex's praying is not supported nor discouraged by the Muskego-Norway School District. He chooses to do so on his own accord.

No one else had a snarky reply to the blog. I feel sort of out place.

I like how I started the trend of posting a list of three things.

Tip from a former AP Gov student:

If you're going to have any sort of AP Exam study groups...make sure to actually study. :]

Good times.

Well im trying to stay up top of everything and use my assinment notebook more. I have a few classes that are fun for me so its nice. and im not trying to stress at all...we only got a few months left, but i have stressed a tad of late with my move and everything happening with my family has for sure added stress and distractions.

Goal for the Week:

Get one hundred percent on my vocabulary test. And make a song that doesn't sound utterly ridiculous.

My plan is to start taking notes while i read, rather than just read the material and not know what it means. Also, i need to start studying the vocabulary earlier than the night before the test.
