Jessie! What would like to do for registration information? I don't think it would be too hard to find out where and when to register in Wisconsin, especially since the deadline for registering passed...

I could type up a page with info about registration that would be different than Vina and Shannon's flyers and we could set them out at the ballot boxes.

Yes? No?

Hey addie. I already got information and i told Shannon that I would give it to her tomorrow. Is that okay? I got stuff from www.voteforchange.com , www.rockthevote.com, and from the muskego city hall website. I think I have it covered.

oh and at the meeting we talked about flyiers by the table and thats part of their job.

So we just get the info they need to make the fliers? I'll read over the websites, but what else do you think I need to do?

Scott W, Nathan L, Jake K. we need to talk about WHO is on the ballets and Nathan you and I need to talk about who to invite.

For the ballet I am thinking everyone who is running, just because they in all likely hood will not win, this is America and we can not, not put them on the ballet.

There is a website I think is good to go off of, we can use the major 13 listed on the website.

Nathan, for who to invite I think we should contact local politicians. The mayor, we can try to get Paul Ryan, Herb Kohl, and Russ Feingold. I know they seem extreme but if we talk about getting young people to vote I think we might have a chance. Each of them have a way to invite them or a representative of theirs to come and attend. We just need to know when, where, and how many people and all that jazz.

Unfortunately, at the after-school planning meeting, there was some fierce opposition to allowing third-party candidates on the ballot at all. To their credit, the American Issues are only studying the two major parties, and many immature students may just vote for a third-party candidate as a joke. So even though I personally would like to see everyone on the Wisconsin ballot on ours, I was willing to compromise (yay democracy!), and I agreed to put four parties on the ballot: Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, and Green.

In regards to who to invite, I've already contacted the Bob Barr campaign (my aim is to get someone to talk about third parties in America), and Mr. Bretzmann gave me a list of political speakers to contact. Matt L, I'll contact them if you contact the senators. I'll also contact Paul Ryan myself because my brother worked as an intern for him, so that could provide some leverage.

I secured 1000 "I voted" stickers. I'm picking them up tomorrow after school. They were easier to get than I thought. I'm going to see if I can get more!

Is there anything anyone would like me to help out with in particular? I know I didn't sign up for anything since it seems to be pretty well covered, but if anyone needs any help with anything, I'm more than willing.

Hey everybody I think we already agreed on having only five canidates on the ballot. It was obviously the two major parties and the libetarian party and the green party. Alex I might need some imput on the annoucements to ensure that they will appeal to all people in all grades. I would just like to say I am truly impressed with everyone's dedicaion and passion towards this project. I know if we keep this up we are going to have a great turn out on the 3rd. So with that said I will see you guys on Monday. Oh, by the way that was one of the funniest SNL's I have ever seen, I think we should watch it on Monday Mr. Bretzmann.
