The 2016 presidential election looks like it will be interesting to say the least. Florida governor Jeb Bush has already formed a leadership PAC and he has even said that he is actively exploring a presidential bid and resigned all his roles on corporate and nonprofit boards. Bush is a serious contender for the Republican party. He is the favorite son of the GOP establishment and will receive financial support from many major donors. Bush's decision surely has affected other potential candidates. Some may choose to back down and not run for office. Only time can tell what will actually happen.

By Jeb Bush running for the 2016 presidential election, he will have an impact, but I feel not as much as many people think. The Republican party is made up of two factions; one of which is conservative, and the other that is an establishment arm of the Republican party. Recently, it seems that the conservative branch of the Republican party (which has been called the Tea Party) is trying to pull the establishment wing of the party to more of a Constitutionally based idea with more conservative ideas. Jeb Bush is not the type of candidate they perceive to line up with their values and ideas. He is much more of a middle of the road type of candidate. It is all about raising a lot of money and Jeb Bush is definitely able to do that with his ties to the Bush family name. This will knock out more of the middle of the road type of candidates that have his same views, but will not be as big of an impact and may actually help more conservative candidates such as Scott Walker and Ted Cruise as the Tea party movement does not want to relive the candidacy of John McCain.

Jeb Bush running for president in 2016 will have an impact in both parties. Bush is considered a serious contender for the Republican party and will receive financial support However, I think that even though some would consider it an advantage I think it is still currently a disadvantage for the presidential race to have the name Bush. I do not think that a Bush can win a presidential election in 2016 but maybe at a different time. I think that the republican party will and needs to focus on candidates who can make a significant run for president and I do not feel that Bush can do that at this time.

With Jeb Bush putting his name in the candidacy for the 2016 election it is most likely going have a strong impact on to the republican party. Because he has strong support from many people he will receive funding for his campaign. because he has the support above other candidates it may push other candidates to leave the race.

Jeb Bush running for presidential election in 2016 is a great opportunity for the republican party. Bush's "brand" recognition is one that is unbeatable, being that he is a 3rd generation candidate. However, Bush may not be as much of a shoe-in for a presidential seat as many may think. Bush's advantage coming into the election is obvious, but it could be his fatal flaw. The primary campaign for Jeb Bush could, and should, be quite easy. You could even stretch enough to say effortless. However, not sending a message to the voters (especially the undecided voters) during the primary about your beliefs can result in a very bad swing state turnout during the general election. If another candidate from the democratic party makes many more appearances along the way during the primaries and gets more voters to back them up, it will snowball and carry over into the general election. Jeb Bush and his campaign team need to be extremely careful about taking the primary seriously enough, as swing voters will decide the general election in 2016. Jeb Bush running for election can be a great opportunity for the republican party, but could also result in an easy win for their counterpart if they are not careful. This being said, the democrats need be weary of a very similar situation with Hillary Clinton.

Jeb Bush running for the 2016 presidential election will have an impact on other candidates by intimidating them with the acknowledgement he already has in the Republican party, causing other candidates to be knocked out. Bush, being apart of the Bush name will be able to raise large amounts of funds which will come to his advantage.

I agree with Andrew. I think that Jeb Bush would have a slight disadvantage in the 2016 election and can not win at this time with the name Bush. Towards the end of George Bush's term people say he has lead our country into more debt. President Obamas campaign was all about change and growing away from what George Bush has previously done. So i feel as if some citizens will really assocate Jeb Bush with George and can cause some people to not vote for him.

Jeb Bush's candidacy would impact the race by creating a quick start to the 2016 presidential election. He has already started a PAC and is gaining support. This quick entering will affect other candidates because they will choose to either back out or they will not have the edge that Jeb has already started to establish.

It seems as if the Republican competition is heating up at a rapid rate for the 2016 presidential election. It is undeniable that having the Bush family name attached to Jeb will cause him to garner both warranted and unwarranted attention, which may or may not help him overall in terms of exposure. He will have to break out on his own path to presidency if he hopes to succeed, although he seems to be heavily relying on the support from his family name. His premature efforts will definitely cause the other candidates to take action and start their campaigns as well, which will push the Republican side along. Starting out so powerfully may sway the Democrats to come out just as strong, which may cause unnecessary stress for both parties stuck in a political arms race. Bush will most likely gain a lot of funding; this, in turn, may cause individuals like Jindal and Huckabee candidates to have to struggle to find the same amount of funding considering he has already obtained a lot of it. Clinton and the other Democrats, however, may have their work cut out for them.

The quick entrance of multiple republican candidates is interesting to say the least. The inclusion of yet another candidate to one party could possibly create a near-logjam in the interests of both the Republican Party and the entire group of registered voters. As the possible combination of Huckabee, Bush, Romney, Christie, Rubio, etc. approach the primaries, the different focuses of their campaigns could lead to tears in the opinions of their Parties, possibly leading to an easier route towards the 2016 election for the Democratic Party. With that in mind, however, the potential exists for one single candidate to campaign in a well-received manner. Jeb Bush's inclusion of his own interpretation of Republican beliefs economically and socially creates a whole division of voters among only the right side of the voting pool.

Jeb Bush running for president has grave implications for other Republican candidates. The surname "Bush" is a household name for many, as it has become a family affair in the White House. The other Republican candidates can be pushed out of their potential running by someone as "big" as Jeb Bush. Bush dropped everything to prepare for this run, as has Mike Huckabee, a competing Republican. While all of this chaos is occurring in the Republican party, the Democrats have all but sealed Hilary Clinton (another family White House name) as their nominee. This race will be interesting to say the least, and we will have to wait and see who the Republican nominee is.

Jeb Bush running for the 2016 election, will definitely, stir up a lot of controversy. He is a favored son of a GOP establishment and a strong Republican. I agree with the majority of the responses and opinions above me. For a candidate that has the upper hand on the components of the election, Bush definitely "being in means they are out" (Washingtonpost.com).

A Republican running for a presidential election indefinitely shifts the favors to the Republican party. I believe it is unfair towards the other potential candidates who are not as favored and have the upper hand advantages.

The race for the 2016 presidential race just got a whole lot hotter, thanks to Jeb Bush. There must be something in the water at the Bush household. Thanks to Jeb, the Republican Party is now a house divided amongst itself, major sponsors are going to have to choose between Mr. Bush and his presidential pedigree, and Mr. Huckabee. No word yet on how the Democratic race is going, actually there probably is but for some reason people are choosing to ignore it and pay attention to the Bushs instead.

Jeb bush is running in the 2016 election. i think he is going to have a impact on the race because the majority of the population has no idea about anything and since his father and brother were both president he has a good chance at being elected. The ignorance of the US population effects the presidential election in many ways. Jeb Bush has a strong chance at being elected because he already has a legacy and he has connections for campaigning already established.

Jeb Bush seems to be a likely candidate for the Republican primary. Bush has already formed a relationship, some might even say PAC, with GOP. Much like his brother, Bush's relationship with GOP will most likely propel him to the Republication nomination. Bush's "movement," along with Huckabee's movement, has the potential to change the course of the general election. With the looming threat of Hillary Clinton, Bush and Huckabee must make a decision because they have start fundraising. If Bush does decide to run, I believe that he could win the primary because he is the best candidate. Jeb Bush is not the type of candidate that either side of the republican party is really looking for. Bush's ideals are mainly in between conservative and liberal principles. If Bush wins the election, his actions will upset one side and please the other and vice versa.

We've had two Bush's in office so far and that didn't turn out so well, perhaps a 3rd wouldn't be such a good idea either. How about we put some trees in office and not so many bushes? However, he is sure to sway the republican vote with just his surname.

The Jeb Bush candidacy had a significant impact on the 2016 primary because of his families source of major donors to his campaign. Since he is the favorite in the GOP establishment, is strengthens his campaign because the group includes many donors who had helped many people such as his brother George, Sen. McCain, and Mitt Romney to the Republican candidacy over the past years. Also his leadership PAC and his resignation from all his roles on corporate and nonprofit boards has allowed him to focus on the Republican primary. Although Bush comes from an influential and affluent family, it might be difficult for him secure his spot as the main Republican candidate because of the conflict from Huckabee and Perry. Even though Bush has made more aggressive actions, others, such as Sen. Rubio are still confident in their ability to grab the attention from the public which foreshadows a very competitive race in 2016. These early actions of these candidates show how fast this race will begin.

The 2016 presidential election is going to be far from bland. Florida governor Jeb Bush has an advantage with his connection with PAC and this will help him incredably in the election and in the republican party. However, all the money that he as, does not mean that he is going to win Walker, Clinton and the other candidates do not have the same chance. CLinton decision to run or not run will make a good difference in the run for president. She may not have the same amount of money however she will use the money she does have and use it where it most matters. This will give Jed Bush and the other candidates a good fight as well.

The next election has potential to be very interesting, due to the forming of a Political Action Committee by Florida Governor Jeb Bush.Any other contenders running for office may be frightened by the large involvement of Jeb Bush, and may abstain from the race in order to avoid the large task of overcoming his support. Having such major donors, could become problematic to his opposition, however, this assistance could lead to a larger spotlight on him by critics, and those who have a different agenda than his. Some argue that Jeb Bush is not "republican enough" and that there may be someone else who could fulfill his spot even better. Furthermore, Jeb Bush may have some negative connotation tied with his last name in some peoples opinions, considering the previous presidents of the Bush family. Some people may continue to associate Jeb with the actions of George Bush, which could be a positive or negative aspect of his candidacy.

Jeb Bush will have a large impact on the 2016 presidential election because he will intimidate the other candidates since he made a PAC. Since so many people are talking about him, there will be a large spotlight on him which is not necessarily a good thing since they could point out different flaws in his campaign. Also, some people think he is not republican enough since they know his beliefs. One reason why I do not think that Jeb Bush could win this election is because he is apart of the Bush family which will be a major disadvantage towards his campaign.

Given the elder Bush's exhaustion of political good will as far as the family name is concerned it seems that regardless of Jebs popularity within the party, Jeb will more than likely either lose the nomination or the overall election. Furthermore, the exceedingly high number of candidates within the Republican party will make it difficult for Bush to husband support and cash. Unless Bush is able to remove the other candidates from the race, or otherwise make himself the Republican frontrunner, it would appear that little or nothing changed when Bush joined the race. Only time will tell what Bush's true prospects are however, as Jeb gradually falls out the spotlight the true strength of his candidacy will be tested.

Jeb Bush would have a interesting and profound effect on the presidential race of both the Republican party nominees and especially the Democratic party nominees. He poses as a threat to other of the GOP candidates because of his strong relations and commitments with the party and how he acts as a beneficiary for prior candidates. His connections with his dad, the former president could both hurt and help his campaign process. His dad received much scrutiny during his term from the media, ultimately giving him bad press for the ideology, that the apple does not far from the tree. However this abstract connection between him and the president still gives him a push in the polls from voters of George H Bush. His introduction is very much a threat to other candidates who had released their running decision much earlier. Much of the hype for them has died down, and they themselves have already been caught under the crosshairs of the media. With Bush's late entry, gives a fresh start with emerging publicity. It remains true, that Jeb Bush is a major player in the 2016 elections.

For the 2016 election, I think Bush's candidacy would in fact make an impact. How big of an impact, is hard to say the least. Bush has a lot of supporters and people who are backing him up on his candidacy, and his point of view on social issues are in agreement with how our society is today and will continue to be in the future. With concerns of the other candidates, some may or may not back out of the race if he decides to run in the election, it all depends on Bush's intensity with his candidacy and how the other's take the intimidation.

Jeb Bush's announcement to run for the 2016 Republican nomination has major implications for the GOP. Now that the "Bush" name is in the mix, it might intimidate other potential candidates. This might also help the GOP considering the lack of Democratic candidates. With there being fewer Republican candidates, Clinton won't have such a huge advantage in the spending aspect of this campaign.

I believe that a Jeb Bush candidacy for the 2016 presidential election will have a serious impact on the other candidates. For one thing, Jeb Bush is a popular governor who has formed a leadership PAC and resigned all his roles on corporate and nonprofit boards. This shows that he is seriously considering running for president and that he has already started to aggressively build us his campaign. This could discourage other hesitant candidates to withdraw because they might feel like they have no chance against this political powerhouse.Although Jeb Bush's candidacy might discourage some of the candidates, I also believe that he might cause the other runners to begin building up their campaigns. These candidates might feel that in order to defeat Jeb Bush, they are going to have to start early and aggressively in order to have an advantage over more popular candidates. This could in turn heat up the competition in this presidential election and lead to an exciting showdown between the under dogs and the powerhouses.

Jeb Bush has a strong presence in the 2016 presidential elections. He is a strong republican with GOP backing him up. Being a "Bush" and previously a governor, the public would likely be attracted to him due to his enrich background. Further more, Hillary Clinton is running against him for Democratic party. It would be interesting to watch these two debate it out in next years presidential elections.

From what I've noticed, most of the candidates view Jeb Bush as a serious contender and fear losing from Bush's quick start in the election of 2016. Just as the article states, "the sooner a candidate starts building national cash-collection operation, the better". Because Jeb Bush holds the reputation from his father and his brother, not to include the GOP establishment, he has already a step further in the election compared to the other contenders. However, I feel as if the other candidates and the other party are overestimating the power that Jeb Bush has over the people. He is going to be overpowered by the mistakes that his infamous brother made in his term of 2001-2008. Are the people really going to trust a Bush again?

Unknown said...

Jeb Bush is very likely to be a candidate for the 2016 election as he is the favorite son of the GOP. It also doesn't hurt either that his father and brother were previous presidents.

Unknown said...

To his advantage, Jeb Bush immediately has a reputation due to not only his last name being Bush, but his governorship in Florida. Simply, being in the Bush family automatically gives him an advantage. That’s politics. It’s not who you are, it’s who you know. The fact that Jeb Bush is apart of the Bush family clearly will intimidate the other candidates, questioning their stance in the presidential race. This, then causes controversies over the race and the candidates themselves. Not only will his last name strike intimidation, his knowledge that he already has within the Republican party furthers the other candidates worries. It almost seems as if the other candidates are ruled out just for going against a Bush. Furthermore, being that Jeb Bush has already started a PAC gives him even more of an advantage due to the fact that he’s already gaining support. By Jeb Bush quickly entering the race, it affects the other candidates in figuring out if they will continue or back out. This intensifies their chances so early in the 2016 presidentia race.

Unknown said...

Jeb Bush seems as though he is going to have a pretty large impact on the 2016 election. His leadership of PAC gives him an advantage as well as being the favorite son of the GOP. Because of his involvement in this, he will most likely receive a huge amount of support from the Republican’s. This will call for a very interesting election to say the least, we’ll see who ends up the victor.

Unknown said...

Florida Governor Jeb Bush was the first to act on entering the 2016 presidential race, forming a leadership PAC and resigning all his roles on corporate and nonprofit board. He seems to be the candidate who has the most support and resources, being the favorite son of the GOP establishment with George Bush, Senator John McCain, and Mitt Romney to back him up. The GOP establishment has been pushing for a Republican nomination for the past decade and a half, which shows the dedication this establishment has towards the presidential race. This dedication may have GOP using all of their resources for Bush to ensure he wins. This may give Bush more confidence in this race, which would made him more likely to the people, since no one wants a nervous and self-conscious president. However, Bush’s confidence and resources has not discouraged other candidates from entering the race. Mike Huckabee even ended his show on the Fox News Channel to fully apply himself to this presidential race, which shows Bush is not the only one to show dedication. Although he has proven his desire to become president, he may not have enough resources and support when compared to Bush with his GOP and PAC support.

If Jeb Bush were to run in the 2016 presidential election I believe that it could create a split in the Republican party. Due to him being moderate in comparison to those in his party. Him running could led people to think that there could be a political dynasty because this father and brother where president. The same could be said about the Democratic party candidate Hillary Clinton with her husband being president. His running could mean that Florida could vote Republican which could mean a Republican victory in the election.

Unknown said...

In the 2016 presidential election the Republican party clearly has a few strong candidates that may be in the running for the next president. A Jeb Bush candidacy would make a huge impact on an entire election. The Bush family has been prominent in politics for many years now and Jeb’s brother as well as father have both been in office previously. Jeb Bush would maintain a following and support system from simply his name. George Bush supporters would associate Jeb with him and most likely lean towards supporting him and eventually voting for him. I believe that Jeb Bush would certainly dominate an election and be a huge power in the Republican party due to his supporters and family. Bush would also have a large amount of funding regarding his name. Bush was also previously the governor of Florida and is very well respected and supported in the state. Florida tends to play an important role in presidential elections and if Bush runs he will most likely receive more votes in Florida due to his previous governorship. Furthermore, Bush running would have a huge effect on the election as a whole. His family has been in office before and Republicans may believe that they have done well so far and having another in office would be a positive experience.

As someone who usually avoids politics, past elections have failed to capture my attention; but this one, seems interesting. I'm hoping Huckabee will run because if he's half as good as a president as he is a Fox news reporter, he'll be perfect for office.Hopefully he still has the appeal he had six years ago! I'm hoping that he still remembers his last campaign and can use what he learned in it to pull out a victory in 2016

The 2016 election is going to be very amusing. Jed bush will have an imprint in the upcoming election. He is already getting a head start with raising money to support his campaign and with this support he is getting it can be intimidating to other people who are planning to run against him. But on the other hand this will cause other candidates to start early and get money as well. Although Bush has flaws in his views i don’t believe that he will be able to overcome them, he was the governor of florida and florida plays a major role in deciding who can win an election. Also they are many people who think he is a RINO, republican in name only, which is not good because he needs to gain the support of the Republican Party. Another major factor that plays into this is that he is a Bush and I feel like America needs to get out of the Bush family and have someone else make discussions for the people. It is going to be very interesting to watch the upcoming debate.

The 2016 election looks like it would favor Jeb Bush for the republican party. Although he has not declared he is officially running in the race, his actions have made it clear. He has resigned from all of his board positions which signifies he is highly considering joining the race. Bush joining the race might hurt the chances of the other republicans having a shot at all. Possible candidates such as Huckabee and Perry don’t compare to what Bush is bringing to the table. as Since he is the favorite son of the GOP establishment he is likely to gain funding from the top donors who funded his brothers. Not only will he have a large amount of funding to propel his campaign he was once the governor of Florida. Knowing that Florida has a large electoral vote their vote can completely change the fate of the race. Being highly recognized in Florida dramatically increases his chances of having the republican party gain approval. Therefore, having high funding, the florida majority, and being the favorite son of the GOP, Jeb bush has a strong chance at becoming the Republican candidate.

The presidential election of 2016 is going to be a rough one for any Republican candidate that is not Jeb Bush. He has already been involved since 2014 and is favored by the GOP. During both of the Bush’s presidency, the Republican party was a strong backbone during the two’s terms. However, many may be discouraged to elect another Bush because of previous turmoil that the United States had faced. Huckabee would be a spectacular candidate by his support of his tv show which he clearly expressed his opinions to a wide audience, so many citizens are already informed of his policies. On the other hand, there is also the possibility that there will be an undercoverage of people that will not vote for any of the new candidates.

Jeb Bush running for president will have a major impact towards both parties in the political system. Having a background in politics as a former governor in Florida will up his chances of succeeding in the political campaign. Florida is also known for having the most electoral votes increasing his chances even more. Forming a leadership PAC appeals to the voters it shows he's taking action and initiative to get the job done. The credit his name holds can either be advantageous or disadvantageous to him, so it wouldn't necessarily provoke him from winning or losing.

Unknown said...

If Jeb Bush ran in the 2016 election, he would have an impact. First of all, the last name alone has an impact. If other republicans have supported a Bush before then most likely they’ll support Jeb Bush too. Since he was a governor of Florida, he’ll get more support and also gain more electoral votes which is also a plus. If he does get funded by GOP, that’s just another plus because of the financial support from major donors. However, the other contenders, who might not have as much money, may have more to offer to the election.

Jeb Bush’s candidacy isn’t exactly a surprise to anyone in the political realm and it may even be considered inevitable given his family name. It can be assumed his running may stem from the overconfidence nurtured by his family’s experience in the Oval Office. This has both positive and negative implications for him; on one hand, he can count on strong favor from those who are staunch supporters of his father and brother, and yet, he has already lost votes from those who hold his surname in a more negative light. However, the Republican party most likely wishes for Bush to be their nominee as he is the governor of Florida, thereby giving him the advantage over the Democrats. And in the end, that’s really all that matters.

With so many advantages going for Bush, he will most likely decide to run in the 2016 election. Due to his still apparent popularity in Florida, Bush would most likely be able to win the state’s majority vote. Hypothetically, with Florida, a crucial swing-state for Democrats, out of the question, a Democrat would find it very difficult to win enough electoral votes to win the presidency. However, Bush’s questionable stance on immigration and Common Core standards could lose him the vote of many hard core Republicans. Due to this middle grounded stance, somewhat RINO, or (republican in name only), the Republicans could be likely to choose a more stiff-positioned representative such as Texas governor Rick Perry.

Buckabee$$
Jeb Bush's presumed run for the 2016 presidential election will undoubtedly alter other candidate's campaigns, funding, and support. If Bush continues to run for the election, his name and family reputation alone will boost him to be the top candidate. This (seemingly unfair advantage) will cause smaller candidates (Rubio, Jindal, Kasich etc.) to fall behind in support and reduce their available funding-the main indicator of voter turnout. Thus, although competing candidates may have very high potential as presidents, their lack of funding (if Bush enters and begins to usurp donations) will cause them to fall behind and most likely not achieve their presidential goals. Moreover, Huckabee's entrance to the election will also sway voters due to his public presence (Fox show). Thus, he will also begin to take the donations available.
TL;DR: if Bush and Huckabee enter the election, they will take all the funding and support and everyone else will lose.

The name "Bush" will always be something the White House knows because of the impact the previous Bush presidents left. Sex scandals practically drip from even the mention of Bush; that is, George Bush. Jokes have even been made that the Washington Monument is Bush's Monument for being unable to keep it in his pants. Not to mention lying isn't exactly something you want in a president whose sole duty is to listen and take care of the people whom s/he governs.

Granted, Jeb Bush isn't the same man as his father; he'll probably be even more careful because of the sour taste left over from the court case. However, the intimidation power his name holds is bound to make for an interesting campaign. Tacticians for his opponents may use his last name against him, but the strong image it provides will also give him a certain advantage should he decide to use it. His stance on gay marriage may lose him some more conservative votes, but his standing with the public (if he continues to improve it) will give him an edge.

Matthew Welch said...

This anticipation for the presidential elections in 2016 isn’t very surprising to say the least. Jed Bush’s running to emphasize the more conservative Tea Party is the most likely the Republican party’s means of “striking first” to get the white house back from an eight year Democratic presidency. Besides just Bush, Huckabee’s representation for more conservative values is likely to get the votes for corresponding Republican citizens. They both present themselves as viable candidate for the GOP. I think that U.S. citizens may be looking for a change of pace. Romney had raised over $76 million for his campaign back in 2012, so it’s more than likely that Bush will be able to meet or surpass funds for his campaign. His family’s history might earn him extra votes, for security purposes. I personally feel that he stands as a great candidate for the presidency of 2016. The Democratic party had their chance with Obama, and unfortunately; his presidency was less than stellar. A change of pace and fresh-thinking is just what the White House needs.

Besides why would we want another republican conservative in there, abolishing abortion, and preventing immigration? Keep your racist, christian ideals out of my head, thanks!

The fact that some Liberals are already raising money to discredit Jeb Bush's campaign, shows that they consider him enough of a threat to take action immediately. However, he may not be conservative enough for those Republicans who want to see a strict conservative in office. The problem is that people get way too caught up in the Republican/Democratic aspect instead of making the decision based on who they think will represent them when things like major world leaders stand together. Presidential candidates spend time and money on getting their name out to the public. In this respect, Jeb Bush may have the advantage of being in a family who has already successfully won presidential elections. Though this may not be enough to win, Jeb Bush's presidential campaign is enough to cause a stir and impact America's decision. The American people seem pretty fed up with Democrats right now, so it'll be pretty interesting to see how all of this plays out. -Destiny Johnson, CA

I believe that Jeb Bush is really going to have a huge impact on the race and its candidates. Some, probably all, republican candidates have at least some fear that he is running. Not only is he a big name , but he is also the favorite of the GOP. With his family's past with the presidency it is hard to know for sure if the impact they have on him or good or bad . He will have experienced people to reference (popular or not) and funds will pose less of an obstacle to him than to the other candidates. Some candidates are sure to be a bit more on edge but they shouldn't be ruled out because things can always change with just a statement when it comes to politics. Things will probably get quite chaotic as the GOP gets more nervous about Clinton running and having to deal with their indecision in their party. This scramble may be costly when it comes to the election.

The unofficial announcement of Jeb Bush running in the 2016 election has in a sense "lit a fire" under the other republican candidates. Bush's campaign already has multiple levels of previously established support from his father and older brother boosting him to another level of competitiveness that the other candidates cannot compete with. This advantage and the Bush administration's well established name and politics is what is determining the pace of every campaign for 2016. The official entering of Jeb Bush into the 2016 elections would cause an upset in the financial expectations of alternative republican candidates as well as jeopardizing their likeliness to get nominated to represent the Republican Party in the running for presidency.

Lots of Republicans running for 2016 well except for Clinton but you know, change is always nice. Anyways.. Jeb Bush admittingly does have a slight advantage. I mean he has the support frim GOP, he has the PAC and he has the "Bush" name! If people who actually pay attention to what they look for in a canidate he has some pretty good standards. For those people who just look for the familiar name, he has that too... HOWEVER, there are still other canidates!!! This means that they know that Bush has these advantages! They know about his father and his past! But they still think that they can go against him! If they have the support and the finances and the ideals, i dont see why Jeb Bush's impact would be so great. There are still people running against him.

Jeb Bush will most definitely have an impact on the presidential election because his father and brother were both presidents. Not to mention the fact that Bush is the favorite son of GOP and has formed a leadership with PAC. With that being said, to me it is unclear whether Bush has a chance at getting the presidential nomination because having the family name will gain him both good and bad attention considering George W. Bush isn’t very well received nowadays. Having the Bush name in effect will cause the other candidates that do see him as a threat to work harder on their campaign in attempts to beat Bush. This means that the election this year will be intense.

Republican nominations are getting ramped up as many people are deciding whether or not to run. Among the republicans, Jeb Bush is raising mounds of interest. His relation to the previous Bush presidents strikes a threat in itself. It raises a threat to the more unknown candidates. Jeb Bush is not solely a threat by name, he has an enormous strength in the GOP group that gives him an even bigger advantage. All these strengths may discourage strong opponents such as Rob Portman who appears to not be in the running. However, he does have some disadvantages that may keep him from making it to the White House. In the Republican party, Huckabee stands as a threat to him making it past. Furthermore, his positions on topics like immigration and common core that go against the Republican opinion may hurt him as well. Far beyond the Republican party, Clinton stands as the frontrunner for the Democratic party. Her name may pose a threat to Bush as well especially with her “16 years in the white house without having any control.” Despite this, Jeb Bush still stands as a frontrunner and is very likely to make it to the white house.

Jeb Bush's decision to run in the 2016 will definetely have many impacts beacause he is very well known for the Bush family name and will also gain major donations for the GOP establishment. Because of this other candidates will either start to drop out or feel discouraged in the begining because he already has a big advantage or they will start to work that much harder to try and beat Jeb in the next election. So in the end Bush running will make the elections this year very intense.

A Jeb Bush candidacy for the 2016 election would have a big impact on the race and the other candidates. Although he has a lot of opposition in the Republican party and many Republicans dislike his stance on Common Core standards and immigration, he is still the favorite son of the GOP establishment. Also, he is helped by the fact that he was the governor of Florida and if he wins there, he will have a great chance at winning the presidency, due to the fact that Florida is an important swing-state. In addition, to get the Republican nomination, you have to raise a lot of money and he is getting an early start. Even if he doesn’t win, he will still have a great impact on the race.

with Jeb Bush running for the 2016 presidential election, i believe that he has an outstanding lead when compared to his other candidates. His acomplisments are with out a doubt outstanding but his name alone i think is whats going to get most of the voters attention. Another bush in the white house?A family who's not only ran this country once, but TWICE and possibly a third time? The establishments that he's created and the man hours he's put into will surely affect his other candidates. When running I'm more then sure he will bring up his family's good doings when they were president and compare him to them with the genes that they all share. Jeb bush's candidacy in this race will change the game for sure.

With Jeb Bush joining the 2016 election, he will get a lot of attention just from his name alone. There will be voters who will vote for him because he is a bush, and there will be voters who won't vote for him because of the same reason. Jeb Bush will cause a split in the votes for the Republican party, and have no or little effect to the Democrat or any other third party. Having Jeb Bush splitting the Republican votes will help the Democratic candadits, because Democratic voters already know who they are voting for and won't split any of the votes. So having Jeb Bush join the race will cause some vote splitting among the Republican voters.

I believe (despite the lack of any actual information) that Bush will have an impact based on intimidation, not because of his family as others have stated. He's the favorite son of GOP, meaning he has donated much time (money) and resources (money) into politics, and a former florida governor, meaning he has support from a pivotal state. He has intimidated potential opponents without a speech, a platform, a campaign, or a candidiacy (though its likely he'll run). So without even doing anything he has rattled America. His candidacy would be frightening to rivals and appealing to the public [because many of us are tired with democrats (#thanksObama)]

I can assure you that Jeb Bush will not win this coming presidential election. Maybe if I keep saying it, it will come true... Anyways, although he will have absolutely no problem raising the necessary amount of money to fund his campaign, all of the posters in the world with "Vote Jeb Bush" will guarantee his vote. God, I'm just going to keep telling myself that too. Well anyway i believe that he will have a great impact on the campaign, being a "Bush" and all. 76 million dollars could never erase the cloud of conspiracy that the last Bush left over the white house in the eyes of America.

I think Jeb Bush has a large impact of the race. I think that Jeb would be able to unite the Republican Party and be able to fundraise to have a strong shot at winning the Presidency. He is a strong candidate for the party and will fare well running against the Democratic favorite, Hillary Clinton. It is hard to believe that there will most likely be a Bush Clinton election once again. Many other likely candidates, like Marco Rubio, have said that Bush's decision will not affect theirs about running for President in 2016. I think that there will be many Republicans running, to try and give the citizens a candidate that will help the nation move forward and unite each political party.

Jeb Bush running for 2016 president will have an impact on the race because he is already a prominent figure for Republicans in the political world. Bush has already formed a PAC and has started to gain supporters, therefore any candidate who does not also start running for the 2016 presidential office will feel less equipped competing against Bush. Another aspect of his presidential campaign is that Jeb Bush and his team cannot take the race for granted. Just because he carries the bush name and has already started to gain support does not mean he can take a stroll through the park. He has to continue reaching out to the voters to get the swing voters and keep the supporters he already has. This should be an interesting process.

The race is on and running, but will the Republicans take the White House the in this upcoming election? With strong candidates like Jeb Bush and Mike Huckabee it is probable. However, Jeb bush running in the 2016 election is a controversial topic that is in heated debate. His candidacy has sparked interest and attention on both sides. Having the bush last name and his place as a third-generation candidate obviously plays a large role on both public attention and financial support. For example, he is already backed by the GOP. Also his strong republican stance or has intimidated his competition and lead to many relinquishing any ideas for running this upcoming election. Lastly, because he will most likely gain Florida vote- a wild card state that is usually the deal breaker in presidential elections- I believe he has a strong chance to win.

The candidacy of Jeb Bush will definitely have an impact on the presidential race, but the amount of impact that he will have cannot be known until other candidates are known. Bush may be able to unite the Republican party unlike it has been for the past few years in national elections due to his name and seniority. However, if other Republican candidates show strength in polls, the Republican party will be split and therefore weaker than the Democratic party, who will most likely be able to rally behind Hillary Clinton unanimously, leading to a Democratic victory.

Jeb Bush’s decision to step down from his corporate and non-profit organizations highly foreshadows his probability to enter the 2016 Presidential race. With his previous role as governor as Florida allows a pivotal advantage to secure a win for the Republican party. With his high status of being a Bush and being the governor of a pivotal state, Jeb Bush already has the upper hand against the other Republican candidates. Another reason a split in the Republican party would be created would be through him being more left wing opposed to the strict right wing candidates. His indifference the immigration laws would lead to him being put down by Republican citizens but also gaining other votes.

Less than two months after 2014 elections the 2016 republican race has been taking shape and Jed Bush is one of those in that race. Jed Bush, without question, will make an impact with PAC, actively exploring, and being the favorite son of the GOP establishment. It is evident Jed Bush has tools to make an impact but what he will make an impact on is a different story. Being the governor of Florida and being a favorite amongst them it looks like he will take away that swing state from the democrats.

Bush's candidacy in the 2016 elections will discourage other candidates. Bush's name is well known and recognized. Most of society prefers this over the unknown, thus bringing him more support. Already getting support from the GOP by being their favorite emphasizes my point.

In my opinion, Jeb Bush running for president in 2016 will have a significant impact on the election. As others have said his running would draw funds from other candidates and may prevent others from running all together. Additionally, the strong name recognition that he brings may give the republicans an advantage in the general election if Jeb makes it there.

I agree with the previous post from Koby Pederson. The fact that Jeb Bush was the previous governor of Florida will have a very large impact on the possible contenders bid for the GOP Presidential nominee. Florida has always been know as a very important battleground state for the Presidential election. He will have a much higher chance of being able to win the electoral votes in Florida than any of the other current contenders.

If Jeb Bush does indeed enter the 2016 presidential campaign, it would hugely impact the race and the other candidates. At this time, it seems likely that this will happen. Bush has formed a leadership Political Action Committee (PAC), has looked into what is needed for a presidential bid, and has resigned from corporate and nonprofit boards in which he had active roles. This all points toward the likelihood of a presidential bid in 2016 and has convinced many that he is planning to campaign.

Even the possibility alone will affect the race. Bush may intimidate other potential candidates into dropping out by name recognition alone. Because his family is already well known in this arena, others may assume that he will receive funding (and votes) that might otherwise go to them. Though nobody has explicitly stated that they will not run if Bush does, it seems to have had an effect on Ohio Senator Rob Portman's decision not to run and will likely affect several other potential candidates.

However, Bush may not have as much of an advantage as it seems. Many people do not want a third Bush to be president, as they do not agree with the decisions made by the first two Bush presidents and may look at the name rather than the platform. In addition, Bush is less conservative and more moderate than the "tea party" Republicans would like. Those who look at the name only may refuse Bush the vote because of the former presidents and those who look at the platform may refuse him the vote if they feel he is too moderate. Ultimately, the only way to find out what effect Jeb Bush's candidacy will have is to watch and see.
